All of the supervisors and senior members joined to the tour to Cheng-Ching Lake this morning. But this time, we have to take care those 119 junior memembers. We waked up around 5:30 and started to take a walk around the most beautiful lake in the southen Taiwan.
It is a huge job to cross the road outside of our camp. Although it was in the early morning, don't forget that we got around 150 people all together. Thanks for two brave supervisors stood in the front and back of all of the time to stop the cars approching us. Like what we mentioned before, there were quite a lot elders doing the sports in this park of the lake. They are quite energetic comparing to all of us, these youth. Ha! I guess it is the common situation all around the world. Those elders danced the folk dance or ballroom dancing, Taijiquan, or even some Gong-Fu. Ok, it did prove Chinese culture had great effects on this part.
A group photo~ our smart colonel knew that it will make the face smaller if you lean your face when you are taking picture
The weather today was fantastic. I was glad that we can leave in the early morning when I stood under the summer-like heat in the noon. It made the view of the lake become clearer and more gorgeous. Somehow, I think the view did reduce the weary mood of everyone. Like our biggest supervisors, captain Hsu, said, it is such a shame that we never visit Cheng-Ching Lake when we were just so close to her. That's true. I recommand this site for everyone who comes to Kaohsiung. This city was changing from a inductry city to a River-city now. It is also the sister city of Brisbane, Melbourne.
After the tour by the lake, we still have a really busy days. There are so many great speaker to share us their experience and knowlege. Generally speaking, it is my favorite day since the first day. Maybe it is because we are allowed to book some bubble tea from a famous teashop in Kaohsiung! :)
